Global | Local | Future

It’s simple. We are a church that exists to see God’s Kingdom advanced on the earth. To expand God’s Kingdom takes the people of God rising up to do His work. At Chapehill, we are a generous church that is careful to keep eternity close in view. With that mindset intact, we are laser focused on fulfilling our mission while also being able to meet the needs for Kingdom advancement in three broad areas: Global Missions, Local Ministry Expansion, and Next Generation Leaders. Our heart is to see a broken world reconciled back to God while investing locally to be the light of Jesus in our communities, while training up leaders that will impact the world for God’s Kingdom tomorrow. We believe that we can be increasingly generous with your support. The Kingdom of God increases with every generous act. When you give to Kingdom Builders, God’s marvelous kingdom expands!

Our mission at Chapelhill Church is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.  Cindy and I are passionate about giving to Kingdom Builders because it is an opportunity for us to reach beyond our walls and share Jesus with those who don’t yet KNOW Him.  It also provides opportunities to help others GROW in their relationship with Him so that they too may DISCOVER their God-given purpose!  In addition, many other needs are met as we GO while expanding our Kingdom Builder giving.

When we look at all the missionary partners and ministry projects in this booklet, our excitement builds!  We’re excited for those of you who will choose to give “over and above” the tithe for the first time in 2021, and others who will live out a new level of generosity.  We are seeing through sacrificial giving many people being impacted for the Kingdom of God for generations to come!

Together, we give and pray for more changed lives in our communities and our world.  We love being on this mission with you.   Let’s do MORE in 2021!

Pastor Dave and Cindy Divine

Reaching our 2021 goal takes sacrifice from all of us. Some giving sacrificially and others giving from great abundance. If this is your first time giving, or if you’re looking to get to a new level in giving, here are some ways to step out in generosity.

When you have plans and are diligent, it leads to plenty. Whatever the amount is – have a plan in place, work the plan and be obedient with it. Start there.

Ask God to give you a vision for what He could do through you with His help. This is beyond what you can do on your own with your resources. This requires a step of faith. Habakkuk 2:2 tells us to write that vision down and pray about it. God will supply all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Stepping out in faith pleases God and gives Him the opportunity to work through your life.

What would be a dream amount you could give? Hold on to that dream. This number is between you and God. Then, watch as each step of faith you take moves you closer to that dream. God can do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

Every gift matters to God. It’s not the size of the gift, but the obedience to God’s voice that matters.

Plan to give, ask God. It’s not the size of the gift, but the obedience to God’s voice that matters.

Global Missions

Jesus commands us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel making disciples of all nations.  As of January 2019, 151 missionaries and projects are financially supported by Chapelhill Church.  Missionary support is the foundation of Global Missions.  Kingdom Builders also gives us the opportunity to support key global projects such as providing humanitarian aid, church planting, vehicles, building Bible Schools, Bible translation, and pastoral development.  Everyone, in every nation, deserves a chance to hear the Gospel!

Local Ministry Expansion

“The local church is the light of the world,” Jesus tells us in the Gospel of Matthew.  Kingdom Builders is committed to funding the growth of the church locally through expanding our own campuses, planting life-giving, Spirit-filled churches in our communities, and serving the hurting in our own backyards through local ministries!  We do not do this for comfort, extravagant buildings, or for personal accolades, but to help more lost people to personally know and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Next Generation Leaders

We are committed to raising up Next Generation Christian leaders.  They are the church today AND the church of the future.  Paul wrote in the New Testament to Timothy, a young leader, encouraging him to set the example in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity.  Kingdom Builders raises up our future leaders to foster a love for the Bible, God, and the lost and inspires them to change the world.  We invest in the Next Generation through Camp Scholarships, S.E.U. At Chapelhill Church, NextGen GO Trips, and creating opportunities for our youth and young adults to have life changing experiences with God.  We want the Next Generation to be inspired to serve, give and love more.
