The Pantry is an outreach extension of Chapelhill Church and the Douglasville community. In partnership with the Atlanta Community Food Bank, The Pantry serves hundreds of hungry families every week with food. Churches, schools, civic organizations, and others within the community volunteer their time and give of their financial resources to support the mission to feed the hungry and share the love and compassion of Christ. Joining in this support system through financial giving expands the reach to others who are food insecure.

The CarePlace is a free primary care health facility for qualified, noninsured residents of Douglas County. Their partnership with WellStar Douglas Hospital supplies the clinical providers needed to care for the medically hurting clients. These medical professionals, along with general volunteers, team together to let patients know that they have a place where care and compassion work hand-in-hand to make a difference in their lives. Financial support is the tangible generosity that connects the needs of the hurting to the resources offered through The CarePlace.

The Life Development Center, launched in the spring of 2008 as a ministry of Chapelhill Church, provides professional Christian counseling services with licensed counselors and Master’s level student interns. The LDC offers faith-sensitive counseling from a biblical perspective. With services continuing to expand, this ministry is a resource to the West Georgia community at large. Our financial goal will allow us to serve many people who don’t have the resources to obtain critical counseling, and to fund necessary administrative support.

Chapelhill Church is proud to partner in the mission of honoring the unborn child and helping young women embrace the sanctity of the life within them. For 31 years, the mission of PRC Medical has been to offer safety and care to those affected by unplanned pregnancies. Volunteers with PRC Medical receive specialized training to equip them to help women physically, emotionally, and spiritually through their journey of pregnancy and birth and continue to offer counseling as the relationship between mother and child develops. Financial support helps to provide the necessary funds needed to change lives and stop the pain and suffering associated with the decision to end the life of an unborn child.

Faith in Action is a nonprofit that provides furnishings and home goods to those in need of furniture, appliances, and other household items. These items are donated and then distributed by volunteers who deliver the hope and help needed to transform difficult living conditions into the look and feel of home. When financial support is joined with the compassionate efforts of Faith in Action volunteers and donations, people see and receive God’s love in action.

Through Operation Christmas we are able to share the love of Christ while giving Christmas gifts to local children in need at all Chapelhill locations. This annual Christmas outreach partners with Faith in Action and community-wide organizations to serve thousands of kids at Christmas.

The Blake House is a ministry in Bremen, GA that offers a 10-month, in-patient Regeneration Program for men who are struggling with addiction. This process differs greatly from a conventional rehabilitation program as it is meant to restore individuals to a better state than they once were. It is the prescription for life-long freedom from addiction.

The mission of SafeHouse Outreach is to help transition people experiencing homelessness from the streets of Atlanta to self-sufficiency. SafeHouse offers a hand-up, not just a hand-out, and is active in finding a solution to those in crisis. With the help of community partners, SafeHouse Outreach will continue it’s mission to transform lives in the city of Atlanta and beyond.

Our vision for the Atlanta campus includes purchasing the current location, securing it as our permanent home. Long-term financing requires a down payment of $600,000. In the meantime, we will continue to lease the property on an annual basis from Southwest Christian Church. Our goal in 2018 is $300,000 toward the down payment. Praise God for the impact our Atlanta ministry team and church family is having in reaching and serving people at this prime location.

Shuttle vehicles are needed for transportation to expand ministry impact throughout our four Chapelhill locations. Reaching our goal would provide each Campus with a reliable vehicle to expand weekly ministry at each location.
