Chapelhill Family,

This sudden shift in life as we know it has everyone’s heads spinning trying to grapple with next steps for our families and how to deal with the emotion of it all. However, I believe this is a time to focus our faith, expect a blessed future, and know that God is FOR us.

I also wanted to send you a message updating you on how we’re preparing for the weekend – today and tomorrow. We’re monitoring all of the decisions being made by local health and governmental officials, and we are currently in compliance. So, as of right now, we’re continuing with services at all of our locations and believing God for a great weekend.

Yesterday, the president announced a National Day of Prayer for this Sunday so we will be joining together and praying in faith for God’s help and His purposes through it all. This is a time of divine opportunity! Let’s face it in faith.

We will continue to assess this situation and if anything changes, we will let you know. Please monitor email and your social media feeds. Of course, use wisdom as you plan your weekend and the days ahead. If you’re feeling sick in any way, please skip attending church, and join us online on the app or at chapelhill.cc. Obviously, if you have any concerns about public gatherings at this time, you are released from any expectations you think we might have on you to attend. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you and allow the peace of God to rule your heart.

At this time, we do not plan on cancelling services going forward. Obviously, things could change in the days ahead. I really believe that in times of crisis that the Church is needed more than ever before. I think we all need to receive the encouragement and hope that comes from our gatherings. We will worship, pray, seek God in His Word, and smile at each other a lot (rather than touch and hug).

Read Psalm 91:4-7; Isaiah 41:10; 1 Timothy 1:7; Isaiah 43:2. We look forward to seeing you in church today or tomorrow or view us online. Fear not!!
